Who we are

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, company, country, city, optional phone or WhatsApp number, your message, and the products and quantities you asked about. When you place an order we additionally collect your shipping address, port of discharge, and the corporate details needed for the commercial invoice and certificate of origin.

Information from your use of the site. We record which pages you view, which products you open and which enquiries you submit, so that we can see what buyers are looking for and improve the catalogue. This is aggregated and logged with an IP address that is truncated before storage.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment card details. Payment is made by bank transfer directly to our account; card numbers never pass through our systems and are never stored by us.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking pixels. There is no third-party advertising network on this site.

Why we use it

We use your information to:

• respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation
• process, ship and support your order, including arranging the warranty replacement of a faulty unit
• meet our legal, customs and tax obligations as a Chinese-registered exporter
• tell you about relevant stock arriving that you have previously asked about, if you have given us permission to do so

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties except where necessary to perform our contract with you: the freight forwarder or carrier delivering your order, and customs authorities.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is retained for 3 years from the last contact. Order and invoice records are retained for 7 years, because Chinese tax and customs law requires it. Serial-number and test records for goods under warranty are retained for the warranty period plus 24 months.

International transfers

We are a Chinese company and our servers are located in China. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in China. Where we transfer personal data outside your jurisdiction, we do so on the basis of your consent, or because the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or in our legitimate commercial interest in fulfilling your order.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you
• correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• request deletion of information we no longer have a legal reason to keep
• object to, or request restriction of, processing based on legitimate interests
• receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format
• withdraw consent where processing relies on consent

To exercise any of these, email leviyang@renfengtech.com with the subject "Data request". We respond within 30 days. We do not charge for this, and we will not treat you differently for exercising a right.

Security

We use TLS encryption in transit for all traffic to and from this site. Access to customer records is restricted to employees who need it for their role. We maintain an access log of administrative actions taken on the catalogue.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay.

Cookies

This site sets only the cookies necessary for it to function: a session cookie for administrative users signing in, and a cookie that remembers your catalogue filter preferences. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser and the catalogue will still work, but your filter preferences will not persist between visits.
